Cralg Ballantyne – 6 Month Bodyweight Program
Hi Craig, just an update.
I am in Phase 5 of the TT bodyweight program. I feel I continue to get excellent results.
I got off track trying your other programs and doing some kettlebell stuff and a couple of Josh Hillis’ workouts. So, I am doing the full four weeks from the beginning (of phase 5)
Did work out B today and it is pretty hard on the hamstrings. I am not complaining but I did it with a friend today and she was not complaining that we did not work hard enough.
Workout A has a tonne of push ups, again not a complaint but just an observation. I am liking every minute of it.
The Abs – circuits at the end of these phase 5 workouts are tough and I have had to work my way up to doing them three times.
For a test I deadlifted the other day and increased my 1 Rep Max to 315lbs from 225lbs I credit the 6 month BW manual for increasing that strength. It has really done wonders for my overall fitness. The single leg exercises are especially effective.
