Each package contains 14 compelling lectures delivered by well-known experts, as well as a book-length study guide.
This intriguing series of lectures is based on Professor Deborah Tannen’s breakthrough study into the basic variations in how the sexes interact using language. Men and women react to each other and among themselves in strikingly diverse and surprisingly predictable ways, from conversational style and body language to the use of tone and vocabulary, and this begins very early in life. This course investigates many of the causes for these distinctions, as well as the drawbacks, repercussions, and advantages of these various styles of contact.
