Soloists and chamber ensembles
TIME micro is your creative resource for atmospheric and rhythmic underscoring, aimed at intimate and tiny instrument ensembles and soloists, such as chamber sized string sections and small vocal groups of no more than three vocalists.
Users will frequently discover lower or softer alternatives to common instruments: Basset Horn instead of Clarinet, Flugelhorn/Cornet instead of Trumpet, and Alto Flute/Bass Flute instead of normal Flute.
TIME mini expands your sonic palette with dazzling Celeste, Harp, and Mandolin tones, in addition to an exciting String Quartet recorded in unison and a Low Bass Section.
Not to mention its unusual articulations, which range from airy woodwind tones, harmonic waves, and flourishes to stuttering staccato performances and scarcely audible ultra-soft string bowings.

Colors that are one-of-a-kind and textures that are personal
TIME mini expands your sonic palette with dazzling Celeste, Harp, and Mandolin tones, in addition to an exciting String Quartet recorded in unison and a Low Bass Section. Not to mention its unusual articulations, which range from airy woodwind tones, harmonic waves, and flourishes to stuttering staccato performances and scarcely audible ultra-soft string bowings.
These are only a few of the numerous tiny accents that can enrich your symphonic inspiration with distinct colors and personal textures.
The Pendulum Swells
The slight forward motions within the looping sustained textures, as well as the “pendulum swells” that reproduce the oscillating movements of a pendulum as a dynamic swell inside these patches, give TIME micro its name. Rhythmic patterns that evoke the sound of clockwork machinery whether performed on a single pitch or as non-tonal percussive notes.
Recordings that are timeless
All orchestra samples, like those in the TIME macro, Metropolis, and Berlin Series collections, were recorded at the iconic Teldex Scoring stage with a superlative multi-microphone setup. This exquisitely balanced hall offers sublime acoustics that lend itself well to acoustic sampling, as well as the greatest microphones from the previous five decades at its disposal.
