The 21 Convention is the first and only “panorama event for life on earth”. Anthony Dream Johnson, who was 18 at the time, launched it in July 2007. Its claimed goal is to bring to light, restore, and actualize the ideal in every willing man on the planet.
In practice, it is a tri-continent meeting of the greatest and brightest men of all ages who strive to accomplish their aspirations – happiness, prosperity, and life itself — against any and all obstacles.
What began as a conference to improve quality of life via dating, social skills, and a better understanding of women has evolved into… has become an international sensation, owing partly to the free distribution of excellent video material from every single event, captured and broadcast in beautiful high definition audio and video.
The events and subsequent footage draw over 2 million people yearly, and are growing. They attract some of the greatest speakers, expertise, and intellectual interchange the globe has to offer.
The event is dubbed “a panoramic event for life on Earth as a man” because its focus is one that does, and has always essentially aspired to embrace the pillars of life on Earth, as experienced distinctively as a man.
Anthony Johnson recognizes these traits in what he terms “the four pillars of the perfect man,” deconstructed to their most basic form.
Exercise and nutrition are two aspects of a man’s connection with his body.
Relationships between men and women -> a man’s connection with others
Self-Actualization refers to a man’s interaction with himself.
Individualism -> a man’s connection to the rest of reality
Anthony Dream Johnson has forged The 21 Convention to be man’s best tool, resource, and inspiration for such action and achievement in the twenty-first century, underpinned by a passionate commitment to a continuous process of making those highest potentials in every individual real through action — self-actualization.
The 21 Convention gives the greatest education and (in the live events) the most intensive, marathon-like growing experience for males on the planet, thanks to Anthony’s relentless drive for truth.

Anthony Dream Johnson, the world’s first and only “panorama event for life on Earth,” is the CEO, creator, and architect of The 21 Convention. He has been on WGN Chicago (1) and in the New York Times best-selling book The Four Hour Work Week (2). His declared goal for his work is “the actualization of the perfect man,” a goal that has prompted him to organize and host The 21 Convention across three continents over a seven-year span.
Anthony, a self-proclaimed “Floridian first, American second, and friend of liberty and reason above all,” was born on August 25, 1988 in south west Florida and grew up there till the age of 17.
After graduating from Fort Myers High School’s IB program in May 2006, Anthony relocated to Orlando, Florida, to attend the University of Central Florida, where he launched The 21 Convention 13 months later.
From June of 2006 through January of 2010, Anthony was a student at UCF (3). Anthony dropped out of college after failing “How to Start a Business” for the second time in a row as part of his entrepreneurship minor. He was studying for a degree in interdisciplinary studies with a focus in entrepreneurship.
As luck would have it, Drew Baye: The Documentary wrapped shooting in Altamonte Springs, Florida, on the same day, with high intensity training specialist Andrew Baye.
Anthony came to Sweden shortly after dropping out of college to host The 21 Convention [Europe] for the first time ever, bringing The 21 Convention to a multi-continent stage. The event was hosted in the Swedish city of Stockholm from June 11th to 13th, 2010 and is being held across the world.
Since this time Anthony has taken on the running of The 21 Convention as a full time job, working round the clock on what he has defined as his “biggest achievement and finest expression of my personal satisfaction”.
Anthony presently resides in south-west Florida, but he travels frequently for The 21 Convention. Time not spent on The 21 Convention is usually spent on a voracious self-education habit and his second most important work emphasis, his personal blog The Dream Lounge, where he publishes on a daily basis about, and for, a reasonable existence, comprehension, and practice of life on Earth.
Other blog subjects include behind-the-scenes discussion and analysis of The 21 Convention, as well as his former closest friend, Curtis Franklin Noll (d. August 1st, 2008), in whom loving memory and heartfelt admiration The 21 Convention (2008) was dedicated.
Curtis continues to be an unrivaled source of motivation and greatness for Anthony to this day.
What is the purpose of The 21 Convention?
I run The 21 Convention because I am a firm believer in achieving my personal pleasure as my highest moral duty on this planet. The 21 Convention is the pinnacle of my delight. In essence, I operate The 21 Convention for the same reason I get out of bed every morning: it makes me happy.
While I realize that The 21 Convention benefits many individuals — and I am grateful for that — that is not why I conduct The 21 Convention in any way. In general, I am uninterested in assisting others, whether through The 21 Convention or elsewhere.
I do it because I enjoy it.
Why was The 21 Convention dubbed “The Under 21 Convention” at one point?
“The Under 21 Convention” was the initial name. That term came about because I started arranging the first event when I was 17, and the first two events were geared toward young males under the age of 21.
The name was changed to “The 21 Convention” in early 2009 to keep the original brand while allowing the conference room to evolve and embrace a broader range of themes and ideas.
Are you a Democrat or a Republican?
In philosophical terms, neither. I am a “declarationist,” and I subscribe to the politico-legal ideology of declarationism, which rightly defines the Declaration of Independence by the thirteen United States as the highest, permanent basis for all law in the United States of America.
Declarationism clearly maintains that individual, unalienable rights are not only guaranteed by the Declaration of Independence and all governments that follow it, but that such rights are also absolute, supreme, and absolutely undelegable as a result of being unalienable (legally or otherwise).
What’s the deal with the pen name “Dream”?
Actually, my middle name is Paul, not Dream ;). Dream was a nickname I adopted when I first started posting in the men’s community. I retained it because I enjoy it, it distinguishes me, and I feel it really depicts me.
That is, I dream frequently, huge ambitions, never hold back, and never compromise on my dreams (my ideals).
I suppose this had something to do with why I chose the name in the first place (it appealed to me as a child).
